1) 'Moving On'

Help clients who are 'stuck' to move on from negative experiences such as:

• A breakup of a marriage/partnership
• Bullying issues
• Parental issues
• Sibling issues
• Issues from the past
• Present Issues
• Anxiety
• Depression

2) Self-Esteem Problems

Help clients with self-esteem issues. Self-esteem is essential for psychological survival and without some measure of self worth life can be painful and hinder a person from attaining as fruitful life as possible.

I worked for many years in Secondary and Primary Care Mental Health Services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS and was liaison psychologist at the Burns and Heart Transplant units at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. I saw clients individually or in groups. I supervised trainee counselling psychologists, counsellors, clinical associates in psychology, and mental health practitioners. I also taught psychology part-time at Glasgow Caledonian University.

I work in a mainly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) way but use other approaches when deemed appropriate. I see my clients as the best expert of themselves and myself as a 'guide', working in a collaborative way to help them work through their issues. Clients are seen in a safe and confidential environment in Glasgow or remotely from wherever you are. Sessions are of fifty minutes duration, structured, and can be face to face or remotely. Fees are £75 per session and are paid at each session.
